Unexpected Greatness - A Love Note

There is a headline on a webpage for Freya’s Arbor that reads:
They say that we are the average of the five
people we spend the most time with...
Shouldn't you choose carefully?
And while I meant every letter of it when I wrote it, little did I know…
Freya’s Arbor was designed to be an answer to the many studies that show repeatedly, resoundingly, and clearly that specific support for Women Entrepreneurs is grossly underprovided and underutilized. As a Woman Entrepreneur with four daughters, and lots of friends and loved ones who are women, I was compelled to do something in response to that knowledge. This virtual sisterhood for Women Entrepreneurs was formed to overcome isolation and overwhelm by sharing experiences, support, and insights. A statement of intent from Freya’s Arbor is…
“We provide the strategic vault and the high-level sisterhood
to help you scale your revenue without sacrificing your soul.”
Just five weeks ago, The Council was launched in Freya’s Arbor. The short description is that The Council is mutual group coaching. We have an unspoken (but written!) oath of privacy, confidentiality, and non-judgement, and our standing question to each other is, “If you could solve one thing today, what would it be?”
Yes, I am a Certified Entrepreneur Coach, but in The Council we are all equal parts coach, coachee, supporter, and witness. The way my sisters in Freya’s Arbor show up for each other, and for themselves, has moved me more and more deeply every week. The insights and problem-solving skills that these brilliant women bring to one virtual meeting – all while balancing businesses to run, kids to nurture, investors to manage, relationships to protect (or withdraw, as the case may be) – I am not overstating it when I say that I am privileged to participate.
The Council has, in just five weeks, become one of the most fulfilling things I have ever been a part of.
This isn't a sales pitch for a seat at the table. It’s a reminder that you don’t have to build your table alone. Women Entrepreneurs and remote workers, this was built for you, with you, by you. If you’re tired of the isolation and overwhelm, find your place here, at the Arbor.
With Deep Affection,
Kris
